The Fred Knop Family strives to produce industry appropriate Suffolk and Blended-Suffolk sheep.
We cordially invite you to view our 2009 lamb crop sired by 6 outstanding stud rams detailed under the sires button. These rams represent the continuation and intensification of our long-term, double-layered linebreeding program.
The Marx 7007 ram brings the Marcantel/801 Hampshire genetics to the equation. The DeSpain 86 Hampshire ram is a three-quarter brother x three-quarter sister mating also being a double CEO and Tex. Both of these rams have sired outstanding lambs as they were mated with our linebred Crazyhorse Suffolk/Mayer Hampshire females.
Gold Mine (Knop 5047) is most likely one of the best Suffolk based rams currently in use in the industry. Gold Mine stamps his offspring with the hip shape and muscle his lambs are known to exhibit.
The net result of our breeding program is the production of Suffolk and Blended-Suffolk sheep which are unique to the club lamb industry in kind and pedigree.
