Our family was truly blessed when Knop 5335 (Woody) and his twin brother were born this past spring.  We elected to retain Woody as a stud ram for our flock.  After much consideration the decision was made to wether Woody’s twin brother and to sell him to Weston Hill of Oklahoma (more about Weston’s accomplishments in a moment).  
 
Woody’s genotype is truly unique where he is sired by Knop 5267 (Steppin’ Up) and his mother is Knop 967.  More about Steppin’ Up can be found on our ram page.  Knop 967 has already proven herself to be the mother of great ones!  Her first female lamb was retained in our flock.  The 967 female is sired by Marx 4-06, the sire of the 2005 American Royal Grand Champion.  967’s mother is sired by a Captain son we call Captain II.  The maternal side of 967 brings the special combination of our Promise ram together with the fabulous Omega x Fields Legend mating.  
 
Woody’s twin wether brother has already stood 2nd in class to the overall Grand Champion at the 2007 American Royal and 2nd in class to the champion Suffolk at the 2007 NAILE. We wish Weston well as he exhibits Woody’s twin brother at various shows this winter in Oklahoma as well as the Oklahoma City Spring Show.
