Knop 5358 (Dougie) is another Steppin’ Up son we retained for our stud ram battery.  Dougie’s mother is the great one in our flock Knop 166, the mother of stud rams.  She is one of the last living daughters of Marx 70.  She is also the mother of Knop 4699-Howard-and his twin brother Leo whose sire is Captain;  the mother of Knop 4975-Treasure-used by Mel Marx the last two years whose sire is Marx 4-06; and Knop 5176-King-whose sire is Marx 3-36.  We expecially appreciate the phenotypic lines that Dougie offers along with the super bone-work and structural correctness coupled with outstanding muscle design.  We believe Dougie will sire the three-peat:  great stud rams, great wethers, and great females.
