2008 A. I. Sires
Our 2008 lamb crop promises to be historic in that we artificially inseminated 8 key females in our flock to several of the great Suffolk sires which in turn sired many of the Major Champion lambs our daughters Brittney and Louise exhibited in the 1990’s. We whole-heartedly believe that it is time to re-introduce these sires of magnitude into the current club lamb gene pool and specifically to our flock. Each of these sires of distinction trace directly to the famous ram bred and raised by Mel Marx named Crazy Horse.
The lambs which will result from these very specific matings could well, in a very positive manner, chart a new course for our flock and our industry in general. We invite you to do your homework and to study the Crazy Horse Suffolk gene pool. We believe you will find that Crazy Horse descendants have the unique ability to “nick” with almost every other club line genetic line currently popular including the various Hampshire derivatives.
Be sure to stop by this spring to view the A.I. lambs and the natural service lambs also. We invite you to consider adding a Knop Suffolk or Crossbred wether to your show string. Also consider the unique genetic combinations our rams and females can offer to your breeding program. We believe a real treat awaits your inspection!

Marx 60—sire of the Res. Grand Overall, 1995 American Royal.
Marx 58—sire of a class winner, 1995 American Royal Open Show. A very popular and unique lamb.
Knop 563—OMEGA—sire of the Grand Champion, 1997 Denver. Same lamb was also Grand Champion Carcass. Also sired the Grand Champion 1995 AK-SAR-BEN Livestock Exhibition.
P.C.—Marx 07 x Peacock 5 daughter. Sired the Res. Grand Champion FFA lamb at the 1997 American Royal as well as the Grand Champion at the 1999 Iowa State Fair.
